What is love






How do you describe love? Some of you may think love is honesty and trust, love is helping one another, love is respect, love is the connection of two hearts or love is the happiness. To be honest all of these comments are not wrong but there is one deep hidden meaning behind that word (love) that we do not want to accept. To me love isn't just this, to me the word love is something else/something more...



Love - sometimes it's beautiful and intoxicating sometimes it's heart breaking and painful just maybe all at the same time.



Have you ever thought about why do we put ourselves through this feeling. I need you to close your eyes for 20 seconds and think about the real reason behind this. why do people need love?


Couple of months ago my definition of love is completely different to what i am gonna say right now. To me love is some kind of a desire.(it could be about a certain person, it could be about sexual desire or else it could be a desire to live happily) but if we really think about this, we need love just because we love ourselves. Right? We need someone else to make ourselves happy. Just to make ourselves beautiful/happy. That's all we do isn't it?





We expect a love from someone else,,, for what? To make myself happy


We want someone else to fulfill our sexual desires,,, for what? Just to see myself happy


After a marriage all we want is to live happily for the rest of our lives,,, for what? To see myself happy






Love is something that is associated with some kind of greed, some kind of desire and some kind of satisfaction. Think under these circumstances what we want in the end is to keep us happy. Isn't that we really do while saying that we love each other? There is nothing wrong with saying that love is self-indulgence.
